Technotrack Engineering are delighted to have donated gifts to the East Anglian Children's Hospice (EACH). We donated toys for a range of ages to offer a little bit of comfort and joy to the children this Christmas.
As a supplier of Volker Fitzpatrick, TTE were asked if we'd like to support their chosen charities EACH and Necton Little Oaks Preschool. The Volker Fitzpatrick Felixstowe Capacity site team, along with their supply chain raised £2570.00 for the Preschool and £2270.00 plus £300.00 in toys for the Hospice.
"We had a very successful raffle and a collection bucket in our SAC office to raise much needed funds for the Nursery and Hospice, with some fantastic support from our supply chain. These donations will make a massive difference to them both." commented Dave Goodey, Works Manager at Volker Fitzpatrick.
Congratulations to Matt, George and Dean on passing their Basic Diagram Reading course.
All three will now progress to the Basic Signalling One course in January, which is part of the learning program to achieve an NVQ qualification.
We would like to thank Mike Knapton of ARC academy and Gary Brackley of Infinity Training for their ongoing support and organising the training courses for our team. #training
2018 has been a busy year for the TTE team, however, at Technotrack Engineering we are passionate about our staff and investing in their training and development is extremely important to us.
Recently, Jaguar Love passed his IRSE Installer’s Licence and Stuart Duncan completed his IRSE Team Leaders Licence. This has been part of an on-going programme and we look forward to both Jaguar and Stuart continuing to excel and progress further with their training and development.
Technotrack Engineering staff have been busy working on the Atkins Elix level crossing system at their training schools in both Crewe and Basingstoke.
Our staff had to design the trunking routes and run all of the cabling, as well as building new locations and setting up the level crossings inside the training schools.
Feedback from the client has been positive and we look forward to building our working relationship with Atkins.
In November 2017, Technotrack Engineering announced that it is the proud company sponsor behind Gemma Holland's Machu Picchu challenge. We are thrilled to report that Gemma took on the challenging Machu Picchu trek and succeeded, not only in completing the challenge but by raising over £5,500 for local Ipswich charity, St Elizabeth Hospice.
“I've done some crazy things to raise money for the Hospice over the years but it's safe to say this one is the craziest! Trekking up to 9 hours a day over 5 days is going to be a tough one but I know with all of your support I can do it!”
Gemma arrived in Peru, South America on Friday, 4th May and after acclimatising to the altitude in the ancient Inca Capital of Cusco, began the tough trek to Machu Picchu on Monday, 7th May from the Sacred Valley.
The four day trek was a once in a lifetime experience for Gemma, she spent her evenings camping in the wild, beside rivers and her days tackling high mountain passes, the highest was 4,600m in the Ranrayoc Valley.
Following the traditional Inca path, Gemma and her team caught their first awe-inspiring view of the sacred site of Machu Picchu from the Sun Gate on Thursday, 10th May.
"The whole Technotrack Engineering team would like to congratulate Gemma
on her successful challenge and we are proud to have supported such a worthy cause."
Callum Finlayson, Production Director
Gemma's chosen charity is St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich. St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for those living with progressive and terminal illnesses through palliative care. They can care for patients in their home, in the community, or at the hospice. St Elizabeth Hospice is an independent charity providing free services. Every year, their services cost £9.1 million to run, three quarters coming from the local community. They rely on fundraising, donations and volunteers, like Gemma to keep going.
If you would like to sponsor Gemma, you can donate here!
Technotrack takes close call reporting very seriously and have issued all staff with our new ‘Close call reporting pads’.
We feel that feedback from our ground staff is of utmost importance when it comes to safety and improving the infrastructure.
Our staff are encouraged to raise all issues however trivial they feel they are. All feedback is captured and passed on to the relevant department for action to be taken.
If you have any questions about our close call reporting procedure, please contact us.
